Case Sensitive is a series of psychological crime dramas adapted from the novels by Sophie Hannah. It relates a series of murder investigations by DS Charlie Zailer and DC Simon Waterhouse. Each story is broadcast in two parts. The show was referred to during production of the first story as The Point of Rescue, and was based on the novel of that name. A second two-part story, based on the novel The Other Half Lives, followed in 2012.
